embracing rain
7 January, 2009
Back in Seattle – I was sad to leave Utah, and then sad to leave Vancouver, and then happy to be back here. And now we have the interwebs at our home! LUXURY. Home may be beginning to feel a little more like… home?
Also this week:
A housemate left today in an ambulence. AIDS, dying, hospital. Dear Bud.
D-girl gave me an elven ring for Christmas. So grateful for this superfun new friend.
E-girl is in town and I got to meet her A-man. Amazing woman, hope I get to see her tomorrow.
I popped my crockpot virginity. Prognosis: delicious.
I am in the process of applying for a lot of language scholarships. Hope?
I am loving my music classes.
My Wisbandy Hife and I came out, fb style, that we’re not really married. Although there’s much love and we could: OH CANADA.
Today I embraced rain to and from tap dancing. Appropriate.
World: let’s not be jaded. There’s so much paradoxical whimsy fun in spite (thank you, Tom Robbins).
